Laviàntica is a band from Rome, Italy, in action since the early 90s. In 2013 the first official CD, "Clessidra", was released. In 2016 a new entry, Daniele Sorrenti, joined the band for flute and minimoog parts, while in 2017 Roberto Rossi completed the current line-up, replacing Andrea Schiappelli on drums. See my comment to the simultaneously acquired Phideax album: Beautiful music is very welcome in this crazy times... Mostly instrumental rock progressivo italiano. If I got this right, this is kind of a decades-old family's affair. Good, that the, er, ragazzi finally started recording/publishing their music. PS Well, not everything here exactly fits the "beautiful music" Iabel. Styles and moods vary from mellow/Camel to edgy/Crimso King.

A very pleasant album. Like other comments said, if you like the first Camel album (Moonmadness for exemple), you have to listen at this one. calm, relaxing are the first words that come to me You can listen from the start to the end: it’s like a journey…. in the space!

Ein so seltsames Album ist mir lange nicht mehr untergekommen. Der Track „Blood Of The Rose“ lässt den Hörer die Stirn in Falten ziehen. Eine zuckersüße, liebliche, kitschige Melodie dringt an das Ohr des Hörers. So säuselt der Song eine Weile vor sich hin, bis er plötzlich etwa bei Halbzeit (es handelt sich um einen 10minüter) komplett die Stimmung wechselt und plötzlich mit zupackender Gitarre und Sprech-Gesang in einen floydige Bluesrock-Hymne umschlägt... sehr kurios!
